The voice of the people has long since been diminished and forgotten on the national stage. Congress was never meant to be a career, but instead an outlet for active citizens to engage in government and work toward improving our nation. No individual should be permitted to remain in congress for 20+ years, because after such time, an individual is no longer in tune with their constituents and the needs of those around them.
In order to restore true democracy and work toward repairing this nation, we demand that appropriate and finite term limits be instated for members of congress.
This will allow individuals with true character and passion for our country to have a chance at bringing their voice to a stage where they can actually be heard without super pacs and political corruption.
