All members of the House and Senate should be limited to 2 terms in office like that of the President. And they should receive pay and health benefits only for the time they are in office, and no longer receive pensions and health insurance for life. This would insure we have a representative government of citizen lawmakers who are there to serve their country for a time, and then who will return to the private sector to live under the laws they created. Such representatives would be more likely to make decisions for the good of the country and not just concerning themselves with the next election by pleasing their campaign donors. Supreme Court Justices should be limited to no more than 10 years of service.
