Now that the DC Court of Appeals has struck down net neutrality in Verizon v. FCC, it is imperative that the FCC reclassify Internet service provided by cable and phone companies as a "telecommunications service", as opposed to the current classification of "information service".
By doing this, the FCC can restore net neutrality and protect free speech on the Internet.
I ask that the President (and those that speak for him) immediately take up the mantle to defend a free and open internet and not be resigned to allow private corporations or persons to control what subscribers may see or do.
