Implore President Obama to Designate FL, GA and SC eligible for Individual Assistance due to Hurricane Matthew.

Created by D.W. on October 14, 2016

Now that cleanup & recovery has begun in the wake of Hurricane Matthew, President Obama has designated Florida (DR-4283) 10/08/16, Georgia (DR-4284) 10/08/16, South Carolina (DR-4286) 10/11/16 and North Carolina (DR-4285) 10/10/16 as Major Disaster areas. All affected citizens should be eligible for Individual Assistance (Assistance to individuals and households) through FEMA. As of the date of this writing 10/14/16 only North Carolina has been declared eligible for Individual Assistance. This isn't meant to mitigate from the dire circumstances North Carolina is currently experiencing from the deadly flooding. In all fairness all four states received substantial wind damage and flooding. The residents of ALL 4 states that sustained damage all deserve assistance if eligible, not just one.
