On March 25, 1992, in an East Regional final game featuring Duke and Kentucky, Christian Laettner hit an admittedly pretty good shot to win arguably the greatest college basketball game ever played - possibly the greatest moment in the history of the NCAA Tournament.
While we recognize the marketing and historical value of repeated showings of the video clip, fans of the University of Kentucky had hoped that time would heal this wound. Bluntly - we can't get over it if you don't stop showing the tape.
We the People of Big Blue Nation are practically begging - CBS, please stop showing it unnecessarily. After 21 years, it doesn't have to be in the opening credits of every game.
Mr. President, please... any help to these ends would be greatly appreciated.
