Verizon Communications (VZ, NYSE), and its subsidiary Verizon Wireless, are in violation of the 2008 FCC Auction in which Verizon won a large amount of the 700MHz Block C wireless spectrum. It appears Big Red is at it again this time in violation of the FCC rules in regards to the 2013 Nexus 7 LTE tablet. The specs on the Nexus 7 LTE show that the device has an unlocked LTE radio that works on many carriers across the globe. Verizon currently refuses to allow customers to add a Nexus 7 LTE tablet to be added to existing/new plans. Verizon should be held accountable to the rules in place, and also fined for breach of these rules. No company should stifle customers wishes to use the devices they want on the services with which they have existing relationships.
