Impose a $1.00 fee on every total purchase, to help pay for the cost of health care.

Created by M.M. on January 24, 2013

If we the people could impose a $1.00 fee on the total amount of goods purchased, this would generate a ton of funding for health care. For example, you purchase a cart of groceries, and there would be a $1.00 fee added on to the total bill. But if you purchased a single candy bar, that fee would also be a single dollar. It would make prices higher, but the prices would be higher for everyone, but this additional fee would cover healthcare for everyone. And again, this goes on the total purchase of your goods. One more example:

A full cart at the grocery store a single dollar would be added to the TOTAL bill.

If you purchased a single candy bar at a gas station, there would be one dollar added on to the total price of the candy bar.

Imagine the funding to be gained!
