Impose a "consumption tax" on gas at the pump & end forced taxpayer oil subsidies.

It's very simple, END the forced taxpayer subsidies for Big Oil companies and impose a consumption tax at the "pump" because it's fair to those who have been the true conservationists all these years by not driving polluting gas guzzlers everyday because they "want to". These are the same ones who also scoff on public transportation, fuel efficent cars and will gladly drive the longest commutes to work everyday so why punish the thrifty and reward greed? Gas is a "commodity" so tax it like one and charge the ones who fill their tanks like it's "free" pay for their excess consumption in taxes while those who drive fuel,clean efficent vehicles by choice should not have to.
