Russia is currently an imperialist state. In 1938, Adolf Hitler was claiming: “Everything that wants to be German must become German”. Vladimir Putin acts in the same way, just with the adjective “German” being replaced with “Russian”. He has committed an intolerable act of aggression against the Republic of Ukraine.
It is the duty of the United States to uphold the World’s peace. In July of 1941, when the Empire of Japan had occupied Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia, the United States froze the Japanese assets and embargoed all trade, to indicate that the Japanese aggression had passed the stage at which verbal protests were of any value. Therefore, I hereby petition the United States Government to freeze all the assets in the US owned by the Russian Government or by the officials thereof.
