We, the signatories of this petition, do hereby request the President of the United States of America to author and enact Executive Order establishing and imposing total embargo upon the Russian Federation for its violations of International Laws and Treaties; and for its invasion of Ukraine, the violation of Ukraine's sovereignty, and for the unlawful occupation and annexation of Ukraine's sovereign territory. Russia's actions are a direct threat to the interests of the United States and its allies; and to the global economic and political stability. By our own treaties with our allies and our ideologies, we shouldn't solely stand-by hypothesizing condemnations and enacting feeble sanctions; sanctions which only freeze the personal - not governmental - assets of individuals.
