We the people, respectfully request a Nationwide Federal Ban on the use of "Red Light" traffic camera's all across America.
The use of "Red Light" cameras is nothing more than High-Tech Highway Robbery!
1. These devices are a violation of our constitutional rights. It places the burden of proof on the individual and does not afford due process.
2. Red Light Cameras create accidents. Despite claims made by companies who install these devices for their own profits, volumes of statistical data clearly illustrates otherwise where "Red Light" Camera's are installed, traffic accidents increase.
3. Their use is purely money motivated and profits from citations are generally split between private companies and local police departments.
