We the people ask the federal government to Propose a new Administration policy:

Impose a federal "minimum wage" of $40/hr for Registered Nurses working in facilities that receive medicare/medicaid.

Created by W.M. on July 08, 2016

Registered Nurses are vital assets to the healthcare industry, possessing skill and knowledge that allows the entire healthcare industry to continue to function. Disparities in pay among healthcare professionals are increasing at a disproportionate rate to the amount of responsibility that the profession entails. As a result, many college-educated professional nurses are leaving the nursing profession in search of other opportunities, creating a shortage of professionals that threatens to limit American citizens access to quality, safe, and affordable care. Help change the future of healthcare by supporting a federally mandated "minimum wage" of $40/hr for all Registered Nurses employed at facilities receiving medicare/medicaid reimbursement.
