In order to better promote interstate commerce, as well as the fitness of Americans, we ask the federal government to regulate the sizing of shoes and footwear. Shoes are material objects with exact interior lengths and, for the sake of the physical and mental health of the public, should be sized in exact measurements (we suggest millimeters; a precise unit European enough to find Democratic support).
Too often we, the consumer-citizens of the great country, are told that "these run big" or "these run small." Why? It's time to stop the medieval practice of approximating things that can be measured empirically. The people deserve a sizing system that works for them!
Support this cause and, together we can walk-- in better shoes-- towards a brighter tomorrow.
