Impose a Harsher Sentence on Ethan Couch

Created by T.A. on April 11, 2014

Ethan Couch is a 16-year old boy convicted of murdering 4 people and injuring more when he drunkenly ran his father's vehicle into a group of people (after multiple convictions of DUI previously).

Thanks to his parent's wealth and his defense attorney's successful argument that "affluenza" was the culprit, he will basically be let go with the taxpayers and not his wealthy parents, who promised they would cover the bill because their child deserves the best treatment (NOT!), footing the bill.

Affluenza, as a defense, is the idea that rich kids don't know any better and therefore cannot be held responsible. Rehab at the taxpayer's expense for the murder their child committed is OK because of Affluenza. End this horrible concept now before it becomes an actual precedent. Pretty please?
