Impose import taxes and regulate outsourcing to balance the deficit, and recover and protect American jobs.

If you want to work for IBM in England or Brazil, you have to live in those countries. Even if you are working remotely(dialing in) you must live there to work there. These laws are in place to protect the jobs in those countries. In the past if a foreigner wanted to work for an American company, he would have to obtain a company sponsored work visa. The company would have to prove that there was no American that could do the specific task. The worker would move to America, rent a place to stay, lease or buy a car, shop in America and pay tax. The Internet has created a loophole allowing corporations to hire abroad without restriction. These employees are not paying social security, fed or state tax, workman's comp and their wages are not reinvested in the US economy. We need reform.
