Impose a lifetime drivers license revocation for drunk drivers that have been convicted of a third DUI/DWI.

This past fall of 2013, my family and I, were struck by a drunk driver. Seeing the impact this has had on our lives and on those close to us, I am seeking to petition for stronger laws to be sanctioned against drunk drivers, in order to protect innocent drivers and their passengers. Please support this petition to make mandatory nationwide, that drivers convicted of a second DUI/DWI, have their drivers licence suspended for 5 years. Additionally, individuals convicted of DUI/DWI for a third time, shall have their drivers license revoked for life. Lastly, after a DUI/DWI arrest, individuals released from jail awaiting trail/criminal proceedings, should have their license suspended until the matter is resolved, as a safety precaution.
