impose lower levels of acceptable fluoride in water to below 4mg/L and launch public education on its harmful effects.

Created by J.M. on February 19, 2013

History has shown the harmful effects of fluoride including mottling of teeth, increased risk of bone cancers, osteoporosis, various neurological symptoms, emphysema, liver and other soft tissue damage, and Alzheimer's. These effects were noticed at levels well below the EPA's 4mg/L levels for acceptable levels in water. This doesn't even take into account various other sources of dietary ingestion, inhaled through industrial pollutants, and absorbed through oral mucous membrane.
There should be a public campaign on how to protect against levels of toxic exposure beginning with removal of these contaminants from public drinking water since no therapeutic benefits have been observed and there is no public consent to forcing consumption as a pharmaceutical product or as industrial waste.
