We ask that Federal Sentencing Guidelines be reformed to include a mandatory minimum sentence of life in prison with no possibility of parole for all persons found guilty of any violent sexual offense.
We do not agree that those who would perpetrate such crimes can be rehabilitated, we do not believe that those who would perpetrate such crimes should have the opportunity to rejoin our civilized society, and we do not believe our society is made any safer by the current policy of temporarily imprisoning and then releasing these individuals.
The victims of violent sexual offenses and those who love them NEVER RECOVER. Being a victim of a violent sexual offender is a life sentence. Therefore we urge you to impose a like sentence upon the offender.
