The current House and Senate chambers are full of 'old blood,' this needs to change.
Currently there exist no limits on persons becoming 'career politicians.'
There should be an eight year limit for state representatives in federal government, both the House and Senate. Once a person has served a six year term in the Senate, they are eligible to serve a single two year term in Congress, or go about their life as ordinary citizens. Once a term is served in Congress, they are eligible to continue in Congress up to the eight years, or be elected to the Senate for a single term.
Additionally, no person serving in government may run for election for a seat they do not currently hold. Reelection to current seat only, no campaigning for 'upgrades' while serving.
