Impose a minimum age limit on public transportation within the United States and leaving/arriving in the United States.

Created by T.S. on September 01, 2013

Babies and small children on public transport, especially in cramped quarters such as airplanes, are invariably a detriment to the comfort and enjoyment of the other passengers. It doesn't matter how many promises or apologies can be made, babies and small children can be nuisances, and in worst-case scenarios, can even be a safety hazard to the children and other passengers, whether by being tripped over, or the children bothering the driver or pilot. This petition seeks to end these concerns by imposing an age limit on public transport usage. The limits will be six years of age for ground-based transport, such as buses and trains, and ten years of age for ships and airplanes. These restrictions will apply to domestic transport, as well as transport entering or leaving the country.
