Impose a moratorium on aircraft seat reductions while safety and comfort is investigated and new regulations are adopted

Created by K.K. on October 29, 2013

The airlines are evading paying various, historically paid taxes while maximizing their profit by selling low airfares (taxed) and charging fees (non-taxed) for everything else. In pursuit of further profit, airlines are now compromising passenger health and safety by adding more seats to aircraft. The aircraft aren't getting longer to accommodate more rows of seats, the chairs are getting narrower with less legroom. The aisle through coach seating is already so narrow only 6 year children can easily traverse the aircraft from front to back. Passenger safety has been compromised and is being compromised for airline profit. Human beings (passengers) are not boxes.

I seek a moratorium on any seat reductions while the safety and comfort is investigated and new regulations can be adopted.
