Being a civil servant in this country today is no longer seen as a way to serve the people, but rather as a way to garner wealth. By allowing our government officials to run for office numerous times we are allowing special interest groups to have sway over our lives. They do this through promises of votes and donations to campaigns. The longer an official stays in their position of power the more their votes kowtow to special interest groups instead of we the people.
