Since December 2012, the depositors of the Ukrainian insolvent bank Daniel have been deprived the right of returning their deposits.
The owners of the bank Yuriy Ivanyuschenko (informal), the Member of the Parliament of Ukraine and Igor Rozhok (formal), using their relationships with the Ukrainian President Yanukovych, are exerting pressure on the Central Bank to prevent from introducing the Depositors Protection Scheme (DPS) according to the law of Ukraine.
We demand to impose personal sanctions on Yu. Ivanyuschenko and I.Rozhok unless the insolvent bank admits its bankruptcy and returns deposits through DPS.
The sanctions should include:
- freeze bank accounts of companies affiliated with them; - ban to enter the U.S. and EU for them and their families
