Despite the Presidents comments 4 years ago we are a greener country, depend less on foreign oil and produce more oil than ever yet we are paying more for gasoline than ever. We The People ask that a committee be formed to recommend policies by 12/31/2013 that would recommend solutions to control the price of gasoline to the American People. This may include federally backed construction on new refineries creating jobs and stabilizing the price of gas when regional refineries are required to shut down for unforeseen circumstances and/or to form a task force to monitor erratic price fluctuations in gas and administer proper accountability for price gouging. Commuting American workers are suffering.
