impose pressure and sanctions on Malaysia government to release Anwar Ibrahim from prison and the shameful judiciary

For 17 years, Anwar Ibrahim has been victimized by the cowardice and corrupted ruling coalition Barisan National with 2 fabricated sodomy charges, one by ex-PM Mahathir Mohammed and the other by the present PM Najib Abdul Razak. This is a blatant violation of basic human rights to suppress the fierce critics and political opponents of the scandals-filled and autocratic ruling coalition. Being the most vocal and charismatic icon of Malaysian political reform movement, Anwar Ibrahim has been attacked relentlessly through mainstream media, state institutions, enforcement agencies and judiciary system by these desperado for fear of losing long-held political power to people of Malaysia who are longing for real Reform to take place before the nation is doomed.
