Impose "reasonable restrictions" upon the 1st and 4th Amendments.

Created by A.P. on January 09, 2013

It has been mistakenly said by various groups/individuals that the 2nd Amendment pertains to "hunting and sporting" and the "muskets and flintlocks" available in the late 1700s. The 2nd is a protection against tyranny and relates to the weapons the military had available at the same time.

Based on this reasoning, we request that the 1st amendment apply only to speech that is verbal or physically printed on paper. There was no Twitter, Facebook, TV, etc in the 1700s and there for the amendment should not pertain to these.

We also request that the 4th amendment be limited to homes, wagons/saddles, steam engines, and boats. Automobiles and aircraft did not exist in the 1700s and therefore should be open to police searches whenever requested.

Or were these amendments made to evolve?
