In addition to making magazines that hold more than 10 rounds illegal, banning assault weapon sales to the public, and requiring comprehensive background checks for all gun sales...we petition for the implementation of a "Safety & Security" Tax on all ammunition & gun sales to pay for putting properly trained police officers at every school, movie theater, and shopping mall in America.
The NRA's idea needs to be combined with these other sensible gun control measures. Sales of guns and ammunition should completely fund these extra police officers with whatever tax is needed to make it happen.
