What we pay past and present "elected" officials is ridiculous. If we are ever to see change occur in this country we need to limit the salary of the elected officials to no more than the median of their constituents. This will not only promote job creation, but if they are making lower wages then they truly work for us. Expand this to only allowing the benefits of those they “work for” and we’ll see changes in this country quickly.
