Philippine citizens are not given judicial due process when accused of the crime of illegal drug possession, distribution, and use. According to Philippine law and judicial courts, drug dealing and drug use is not punishable by death. However, the current president of the Philippines has order the police and military to kill suspected drug dealers and drug users. Since May 2016 over 2400 men, woman, and children were killed by government forces and death squads. This is against Philippine law, and blatantly against international law.
The United States congress must consider and discuss financial and military sanctions against the republic of the Philippines; until the extrajudicial killings by the Philippine government stop.
