India's Modi has chosen to ignore the sanctions the rest of the civilized world has imposed on Russia due to Putin's actions in Ukraine and Crimea. Indeed, he has instead signed on to economic agreements with Russia including nuclear energy development which clearly place India complicit with Putin's ambitions.
As such, the same sanctions that have been levied against Russia, Putin and his cronies should be applied to India and Modi until they prove that they too firmly support emerging democratic nations as Ukraine and oppose the tactics Putin has employed in subverting such endeavors.
