The average intelligence in America has gradually slipped to the edge of oblivion. The lack of intelligence has had, and will continue to have a significant effect on the future of this country and the world we all live on. From the failures of our educational institutions to prepare future citizens adequately to the perverse manipulations imposed on us by the media (regardless of political leaning, real or imagined) our citizenry has lost the ability to apply critical thinking. Keeping our citizens safe requires an educated and intelligent populace. Barring that - strict limitations should be imposed on all who cannot meet the basic levels of intelligence that have been the hallmark of our nation and species. This will help protect our country and society in the future.
