Hello to all reading this petition, While Bitcoins have been around since 2009, their recent growth has been very alarming considering the circumstances surrounding it. This system is has undermined Us domestic, economic, and foreign policy, by allowing drug traders to use this in order to purchase illegal firearms and narcotics overseas with almost complete anonymity, as seen with the recent silk road controversy. Not only does this system greatly benefit drug traffickers in its current state, Heavily sanctioned nations such as North Korea or the Islamic Republic of Iran could easily use Bitcoins as a mean to bring in Illegal exports into their country, a greatly negative effect for the America's influence.
