This petition is intended to force the govenment to acknowledge the impact of outsourcing of America's jobs to companies overseas. Imposing a charge on companies that engage in this practice would make it less lucrative and attractive to corporations, and allow for an income stream from the companies that employ this tactic to create new jobs here in the US that would compensate for the loss of jobs to offshore outsourcing.
