The American people have voted to be equally represented in Congress. Congress still imposes party lines that are not always in the interest of the people of the United States. It is time that Americans have more choices for these positions and limit the amount of time a single person can occupy these roles. No one person should hold a position of such power in this country for more than 12 years. Imposing a term limit on Congress would insure that as generations evolve so do the policies of this country.
