Though the President, regardless of party, takes much heat for failed policies in the US Government, it is Congress who makes the laws and policies of this country; they also dictate how they will spend taxpayer money to do so. Congress has failed to avert the "fiscal cliff" and has failed the American People; everyone is going to take a massive tax hike.
We send the same people to Congress constantly; the same people go to Capitol Hill to argue the same issues, and nothing gets accomplished. It is time for this to stop and have a real "Government by and for the People". This petition will seek to impose term limits on Congress, both the House and Senate, so fresh minds always go to Washington.
