Impose term limits on Congress. We need new ideas and people. Their current inability to work together is detrimental.

Congress has become polluted with politicians who are no longer looking out for the public that they have been elected to represent. Over time, their ideologies and the need to be re-elected have distracted them from their true purpose. We need to encourage the influx of new ideas and voices by setting limits to the number of terms a Representative may serve in Congress. An individual may only hold the office of the President for two terms; there should be similar restrictions for Congress. This will allow we, the people to be better represented. True action needs to be taken instead of the current posturing by two parties who cater to special interest groups with nothing actually being accomplished.
