Impose term limits on elected senators and congressional representatives to 2 terms with no lifetime health insurance.
Representing the Unites States of America in these positions was set up for average working people to serve a term or two and return to their work, not for people to make a life time career out of it. Our government was set up “FOR THE PEOPLE, BY THE PEOPLE”.
Serving in these positions for limited terms of 2 terms would help break the political and financial ties that keep them in office to write legislation that is not in the best interests of the common good, THE PEOPLE, but rather in the best interests of the wealthy who can afford unlimited campaign contributions and money in lobbying these representatives to elect and write legislation in their own favor.
