To impose term limits on Senators and Representatives to 3 terms so focus is on getting things done not re-election.

I believe that by allowing people to make a career out of being Senators & Representatives it allows them to be more concerned about getting re-elected rather than focusing on what their constituents and then voting on issues that reflect the majority of their constituents position. Currently, it seems as though pressure is on the House & Senate to vote so that they represent large companies & lobby groups so that theiir re-election campaign will be funded. I believe this will avoid the deadlock in the House & Senate. If term limits were in place I think that people who are elected will be motivated to accomplish more since they have a shorter time to do it. They could run again for a three year term after taking a 1 term break allowing them to go home & get in touch with constituents
