Involuntary Commitment Papers are being mis-used in this country everyday un-noticed. Anyone can go to a Magistrate and make up something and destroy another persons life and career. A victim of this should be brought before a Judge before any action is taken. They should be told what the reporting person is saying about them. The way the system is set up, the victim has no rights. The police go and look for the person and may even illegally break into their home. The police drag the person to a hospital. They may not even get to see a doctor or a physical evaluation. All they are asked is how is their appetite, sleeping, or are they going to hurt themselves or others? The victim gives normal answers, and is still held and sent off to another hospital- tortured, beaten, and forced meds.
