Due to the inadequacy of current channels for transfer of military to civilian credentials and licenses, we hereby request the US Government promptly open debate on legislation that creates uniform federal regulations for civilian credentialing and licensing for veterans. Uniform regulations will expedite the acquisition of credentials and improve the number of military credentials that can be transferred as legitimate work experience and qualifications.
