The American education system may have been effective years ago, but with a changing and growing economy, America's youth needs to be entitled to better, faster, and more relevant education. Millions of dollars are wasted yearly on classes that students simply won't use in the future. Students should be required to take core classes such as English, Science, Social Studies, and Math in grades K-8, but grades 9-12 should be more individualized to the student and their goals for the future. By doing this, we are allowing students the opportunity to learn information that is relevant to their career and their future. This would also cut down the time and costs of graduating from a college or university.
