Inclusion of true size and distances needs to be mandated as comparative controls when providing informative information displaying images containing all 50 United State of America.
Any publicly displayed or broadcast geographic image should either boldly posts the size ratio difference, e.g. (3:1) or shadow behind Alaska & Hawaii the comparable area equivalent to the other 48 states.
As Example, people continually see Alaska displayed much smaller than California. Alaska is the size of California, Texas, & Montana combined. Size accuracy is unjustly distorted through imprecise illustration.
Citizens should know the physical & ecological significance of these two States. True visual representation will add meaningful context to their actual sizes and locations.
