1. Federal taxes for Active Duty Sailors on Sea Duty should not apply in order to make up for upwards of 80 hour work weeks.
2. All single sailors on sea-duty should recieve basic allowence for housing because living aboard a ship while in port is absolutly not adequete. I understand that housing is limited but making Sailors wait for the Gov't to catch up with basic standard of living issues isn't an excuse to abuse those who have sworn to serve. If millions can be spent to treat them like criminals with unnecessary drug and beath test then this issue can be fixed. This will also create a decrease in sailors getting married earlier then they would otherwise. A ship is a place where you live and work while at sea. Where does a sailor escape to if not a bar if he has no home?
