Improve current immigration processing procedures which keep American families apart for an indefinite period of time.

I am an American citizen who applied for an immigrant visa for my husband in August 2010. We have both secured jobs in Salt lake city, however my husband's visa, after being approved by the DOS and NVC, was held up indefinitely in 'additional processing' since January 2011. There is no reason given for this hold up and our children who are 4 and 6 now must grow up without their father. My husband who is British, is able to visit this country any time he wants with no issues at the border.This system is flawed and causes pain and aggravation to innocent american families. U.S. consulates must be made accountable for their actions and this system meant to 'unite' American families should be drastically reformed.
