The past 10 years or so, terrorism has rose significantly in the United States. They have targeted a few electric transmitters and gas lines. We as the people need to ensure the protection of these resources. If these blow up, or are tampered with, it could cause mass blackouts and communication issues. In addition, the gas lines are valuable and leaks can burn through a ton of money. So if we protect these by adding defenses, and getting special teams to check them out, then we can save future money.
