The lack of consistency in the education system, the over testing, the ridiculous standards are all putting teaching and teachers to the test. How are children supposed to actually learn things when the only reason they're being taught is to test? How are we supposed to become excited and active members in society when we have a "basic" idea of education (which is skewed to the real world, because let's be honest, who's actually going to make you file stuff entirely from memory) and no real idea of what we want to do or what we CAN do.
