In an effort to actually hear the voice of the people, not just placate them with an underdeveloped website, we would like to see petitions.whitehouse.gov install the functionality to allow users to search petitions by keywords, tags and other common search terminology.
Since 100,000 signatures are required for any given petition to receive a response, it is in the people's best interest to ensure that multiple petitions aren't started for a single subject. Improved functionality would create a website that better connects the people and our government to issues we find important.
