Improve funding for Classical Arts and Classical Arts Education.

We need our President to push for more funding for the performing arts and performing arts education. We agree that our country needs more science, engineering and maths students and teachers. However, science is not the only important aspect of human life and of a great civilization. Classical Arts (as opposed to pop culture) are enriching, stimulating and fundamental to creating what we call the Good Life (see, Aristotle writings for definition), which is what every human being should ultimately strive for. In addition to that, performing arts funding create new, fulfilling jobs, that make for better living conditions for the people who perform them, and for the people who enjoy the end result of them. Please, Mr. President, include the Classical Performing Arts in your speeches!
