The state of public education is declining due to a lack of funding. With the increasing (and necessary) funding required for students with special needs since the 1990s, the remaining funds for students is spread too thin. Class sizes are too large. Infrastructure needs repair and replacement. Technology must be updated. Teachers should have access to increased and improved training.
