The immigration of families and spouses has a serious backlog, creating unnecessary separation between families- when all they are doing is trying to follow the law. More money needs to be spent to improve the process of legal immigration. At the same time, more must be done to remove illegal immigrants into the US. If the process was improved for all, it would be a much fairer and timely system.
